More fines to head Mourinho’s way this season say Ladbrokes

He’s no stranger to run-ins with the authorities, but according to Ladbrokes, Jose Mourinho could be in trouble with the FA again, even before the season is out.

After describing the tackle on Nemanja Matic that sparked a reaction that resulted in his red card as “criminal”, the Chelsea boss went on to call for video technology to be introduced to help referees.

This comes after the Portuguese man simply listed four moments in their match at Stamford Bridge that he believed went against his side.

And while he may have been rather coy with his words, it is just 1/2 that the FA object to any comments from him and impose a fine on the Blues gaffer before the campaign is out.

However, such action won’t be the first time this season that he’s been forced to dip into his pockets after coming unstuck during press conferences.

When the famous ‘campaign’ against Chelsea was unveiled after the 1-1 draw at Sunderland, a whopping £25,000 fine came his way.

But that’s not his only form of attack when it comes to the performances of the men in black…

His perfect delivery of sarcasm after Sunderland secured a shock victory at Stamford Bridge earned him a slap on the wrist to the tune of £10,000.

It appears the authorities felt that he was being a little less than genuine with his words about referee’s chief Mike Riley:

“What they are doing during the whole season is fantastic, especially in the last couple of months, especially matches involving the teams that were in the title race, it’s absolutely fantastic”, he said.

However, it’s all well and good choosing to air his war of words with the men in charge in press conferences, but sometimes the Special One, just cant wait that long.

Back in 2010, Ramires felt it necessary to go lunging in two-footed on Karim El Ahmadi, and was shown a straight red card by referee Chris Foy.

Mourinho took exception to his player being punished and stormed onto the pitch.

He then went the same way as his Brazilian midfielder, the referee showing him the way to the stands, and the FA showing him the way to the bank to pay off an £8,000 fine.

His rap sheet may be as long as his arm, but after his latest choice of words, it looks certain that the former Real Madrid boss will be setting up another direct debit to pay the FA before the end of the 2014-15 campaign.
