Poll result: Leeds Rhinos prop leads Super League 1,2,3 for Kiwis

Leeds Rhino’s prop forward Kylie Leuluai is used to coming off best when he steams into tackles for his side in Super League games and now he’s left 11 others on the floor as well.

According to the latest Ladbrokes Poll it’s the Kiwi-born player who packs the most power in rugby league’s most prestigious competition.

We asked readers to decide between 12 of Super League’s most fearsome tacklers to decide who hits the hardest and it was Leuluai’s 27 per cent share of the vote which came out on top.

Leuluai fought off competition from his cousin Macgraff, part of the New Zealand rugby league Leuluai dynasty, who plies his trade at Widnes and picked up nine per cent himself.

Just ahead of the Widnes man was Louis Anderson of Catalans, who scooped 12 per cent in third place.

Carrying on the New Zealand theme the former Challenge Cup winner with Warrington weighs in at 16st and at 6ft 1” the forward is no stranger to leaving opposition players in a heap.

Second only to Kylie Leuluai (and yep you guessed it) was another New Zealander.

A starter at prop in St. Helens Grand Final win over Wigan Warriors just last season Mose Masoe is a real giant of a man, at just over 20st and towering above many opponents at 6ft 5”.

Masoe collected 19 per cent of the vote.
