Price Boost: Everton included in enhanced Europa treble
As the games involving British sides showed us last week there is plenty to get excited about when it comes to Europe’s so-called lesser tournament.
The Europa League delivered goals aplenty as Everton, Tottenham, Liverpool and Celtic kept their continental dreams alive and it is the Toffees who head up Ladbrokes’ latest enhanced treble.
Roberto Martinez’s side put their domestic misery to one side against Young Boys last week and those expecting the Merseysiders to win the return leg, alongside victories for Napoli and Bilbao will see the odds enhanced from 7/2 to 9/2.
Read on to see why this is a midweek treble not to be missed.
Everton to beat Young Boys
The Swiss side have lost just one of their last 10 games and won eight times in that spell. However, that single defeat being the 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Everton last week only goes to show the gulf in class between the English and Swiss top flights.
Everton have been criticised for some of their performances this year but the form book shows just two losses from their last 10 games and a third in 11 looks far from likely here.
Napoli to beat Trabzonspor
Napoli have won eight of their last 10 games in all competitions and one of those defeats came courtesy of runaway Serie A leaders Juventus.
Trabzonspor showed that were not up to the task in the last clash and a draw with lowly Kasimpasa in the interim is hardly inspiring form.
Athletic Bilbao to beat Torino
Torino may be unbeaten in 10 games coming into this tie but they have drawn as many as they’ve won in that time and rarely faced a side of Bilbao’s calibre.
Athletic Club have lost just one of their last six and their exploits in this competition in recent years makes them a worthy addition to this tempting treble.
