WATCH: Jessica Harrington on Jezki and the Champion Hurdle

Published:

Antepost favourite Faugheen may be the one currently generating the majority of headlines ahead of this year’s Champion Hurdle but there’s one horse who’s perhaps been slightly overlooked.

Having suffered a hat-trick of defeats to dual winner Hurricane Fly in the winter the current champion has arguably seen some of the gloss taken off his previous exploits.

But the term ‘spring horse’ was coined for charges like Jezki and it would take a brave person to write-off last year’s hero.

We caught up with his trainer Jessica Harrington at our Cheltenham preview evening in Waterford to get the latest on her stable star and other Festival chances.
