#InsideInfo: Campese doesn’t take it easy on Hull KR team mates

Published:

Hull KR maintained their home winning streak over St Helens last week, with a hard-fought 24-22 victory over the previously unbeaten Saints, to secure the perfect preparation for tonight’s derby with Hull FC.

Captain Terry Campese was once again in the thick of the action, contributing 16 tackles and setting up one try to take his season’s assist tally to six – the highest of anyone in the KR camp.

The Australian is clearly well respected at the KC Lighstream but that could all be set to change after he dished the dirt on his team-mates in an exclusive chat with Ladbrokes News.

Read on to see who is rated and who is slated by the big man.

Who is the best trainer?

It’s the young French guy John Boudebza. He’s pretty fit and leads all the running.

Who is the team joker?

Big Coxy (Jordan Cox). He’s pretty much been hanging s**t on me since the first day I got here. He doesn’t hold back either so it’s pretty good to hang around with him.

Who is the worst dressed player?

The big guy Josh Mantellato. He loves his scarves and he’s got all these fancy jackets and shoes. It’s not my kind of thing so I’d have to say him.

Who has the worst taste in music?

Kevvy (Kevin) Larroyer. He’s another French guy and the music coming out of his headphones is pretty bad. All heavy dance and techno. Not for me.

Who is the fastest player?

Keiron Dixon absolutely flies. He scored a pretty cool try in our pre-season friendly with Hull FC and his speed was electrifying.

Who is the slowest player

Big Michael Weyman. He doesn’t move too quickly. He’s powerful but when it comes to speed he’s not the fastest.

Who is the most intelligent player?

I’d have to say myself being the older guy.

Who is the least intelligent player?

James Donaldson, We had a trivia night at camp in Portugal and he was on my team and didn’t know a single answer. It was pretty funny though.

Who has the weirdest superstition?

I haven’t seen any yet. There were a few back home though.

Who hits the hardest in training?

Kevvy has put a few shots on me so I’d have to say him again.
