How Twitter reacted to the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup final
The 2015 Challenge Cup, the first sponsored by Ladbrokes, ended in one-sided fashion at Wembley, with the Leeds Rhinos running out 50-0 winners over Hull KR.
In front of 80,000 people in London, the Rhinos claimed their 12th win in the competition, setting records in doing so.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the game:
Leeds managed to rack up 50 points in a Challenge Cup final for the second time, although the 2015 haul helped them record the biggest win margin

The win capped a fitting farewell for Jamie Peacock

Although the Rhinos’ undoubted star was Tom Briscoe, who touched down five times in the game and became the first man to achieve the feat in a Challenge Cup at Wembley
Thanks for all the messages. Humbled and proud to be part of this great club @leedsrhinos

Unfortunately for Hull KR, it wasn’t the fairytale end they hoped for
FULL TIME: Rovers 0 – 50 Leeds. A poor Rovers performance and an unforgiving Leeds performance. Heartbreaking end to a great cup run.

Without question though, the hair-raising moment of the final was Lizzie Jones’ performance
