Boost Wales bets with more of the same from Bale against Israel

It promises to be an epic autumn for sport in Wales, with the rugby lads taking on England and Australia in the group stage of the World Cup, while the footballers stand on the brink of automatic qualification for the Euro 2016 Championship in France.

Warren Gatland’s men are sixth-favourites at 14/1 to lift the Webb Ellis trophy at Twickenham in eight weeks’ time, while Chris Coleman’s outfit are a little longer at 66s for glory next summer.

That being said, simply making their second ever major tournament appearance, and first since the 1958 World Cup, would ensure skipper Ashley Williams and co go down in history in the Valleys.

They look as likely as not to wrap up automatic qualification ahead of time, with one win from their remaining three games all that’s needed before flights can be booked.

Israel are next to visit Cardiff City Stadium, where Wales have picked up seven points from three clashes so far against Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cyprus and ante-post Group B favourites Belgium, who succumbed to a 1-0 loss courtesy of Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale’s 25th-minute effort.

The former Tottenham winger has bagged four in his country’s last three fixtures, all of them wins, and notched a brace in his second Los Blancos appearance of the season last-time-out domestically, rocking Real Betis with goals after two minutes and a minute from time in a 5-0 Bernabeu victory.

You can have 6/4 about Bale riding the streak and making the scoresheet in a fourth Wales triumph on the spin, which looks a decent bet considering the 26-year-old managed as much in a 1-0 win away to Cyprus last week.

Coleman’s crowd are 10/11 merely to win in the Welsh Capital, with Israel 10/3 and the draw 11/5.
