Galling home defeats before the international break have seen two high-profile Premier League managers plummet in the betting to be the next top-flight manager out the door.
In our weekly round-up of Ladbrokes’ market it’s gloomy news for Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers and his former mentor and Chelsea counterpart Jose Mourinho.
Having begun the season as the favourite to find himself out of a job the quickest out of his peers, a sure-footed start to proceedings appeared to have bought Rodgers a good deal of renewed breathing space.

Just as the Croatian is left basking in his historic Merseyside success for a fortnight until returning to action, the international break will be far less enjoyable for Mourinho no doubt.
Premier League champions Chelsea have endured a remarkable start to the season, but for all the wrong reasons.
Only one point has been gained from two home games and only four out of 12 in total, confounding the majority of experts who made the Blues favourites to defend their title in 2015/16.
Crystal Palace stunned the Stamford Bridge crowd latterly when migrating south of the river with the points following a famous 2-1 win.
All this means Mourinho now ranks as an 8/1 chance, in from 12s, to either feel the wrath of Roman Abramovich, or walk away from the Bridge for a second time before another Premier League manager falls.
Despite taking a point away from Villa Park meanwhile, Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat remains the favourite to feel the pinch first, with the Black Cats boss lengthening slightly from 6/5 to 11/5.
