I’m A Celebrity 2015: Meet this year’s rumoured cast

Published:

It’s almost time for the biggest reality TV event of the year with I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here due back on our screens in the coming weeks.

As ever the rumours surrounding who will be heading Down Under are flying around and while the cast is yet to be confirmed there is already a clear favourite.

Read on to see what the strongest rumours suggest and who Ladbrokes feels has a good chance of not only entering the jungle – but winning the show!

Paul Gascoigne @ 4/1

If tabloid newspapers are to be believed the show’s producers have been after Gazza for a number of years. The revered former Newcastle, Tottenham and England midfielder is a national treasure and hugely entertaining when on top form. A series of recent TV appearances show he is on fine form and would be the clear favourite were he to head Down Under.

Jake Wood @ 5/1

Eastenders’ Max Branning denied he would be going into the show this year during a recent appearance on Soccer AM but Branning’s exit from Albert Square means the rumours won’t die down. The actor is a self-confessed fan of the show and boasts that the Bushtucker Trials wouldn’t faze him in the slightest.

Will Mellor @ 6/1

The former Hollyoaks and Two Pints of Lager actor sent the rumour mill into overdrive recently after posting a photo of himself in jungle garb – complete with voting number on his red body warmer. Mellor insists the photo was for a Keith Lemon spoof but could that be a double bluff?

Craig Charles @ 7/1

Red Dwarf, Robot Wars and Coronation Street favourite Charles entered the jungle last year but unfortunately his time Down Under was cut short when he learned of a family bereavement and decided to head home.

The actor may feel he has unfinished business in Australia and would be among the favourites if he headed back for a second stint.

Louis Walsh @ 7/1

He may have been working since his X Factor axe but there’s only so much of Keith Lemon shouting “potato” in your face that one man can take. As Simon Cowell’s right hand man and the mastermind behind Boyzone, Westlife and – erm – Jedward Walsh will have the celebrity gossip to keep viewers entertained for weeks.

Caitlyn Jenner @ 12/1

An outside bet but the world’s current fascination with Kim Kardashian’s former step-dad means Jenner would be a huge coup for the show.

As part of the Kardashian Klan there isn’t much that cable TV subscribers won’t know about the former Olympian, but those who get their TV fix from terrestrial means could lap up Jenner’s journey.
