NFL Acca: Bears to upset the Broncos in week 11

Published:

As the NFL season moves into its 11th week of games, thoughts are starting to turn to the playoffs but for Ladbrokes customers the target remains the same: accumulator wins.

Once again the news team provides their best fourfold of the weekend, which this time around pays £108.20 to a £10 stake, but there is also the chance to take advantage of the bookmakers’ 1st Touchdown Scorer offer.

Terms and conditions for that offer can be found here, while our fourfold and explanations are below:

Dallas Cowboys (-1) to beat Miami Dolphins @ 20/23

The Cowboys’ form doesn’t make for great reading. They’ve lost seven games in a row and been the NFL’s second lowest scoring team over the last five of those.

While that is certainly cause for concern the silver lining is that it all came without star quarterback Tony Romo, who was out through injury. Romo is now back.

On the other hand, the Dolphins have no bright side. They are a below average defensive team facing an elite passer and have lost four of the last five games against Dallas

New York Jets (-3) to beat Houston Texans @ 4/5

The Jets’ visit to face the Texans is a tale of quarterbacks too. New York’s Ryan Fitzpatrick is facing his former team, while the Texans have health issues lingering over their preferred starter, Brian Hoyer.

Despite that, it’s the sides’ defences that have propelled them through the season and the Jets’ better unit – they rank in the top 10 in the NFL against both the pass and the rush – against a potential backup passer that will see them victorious.

Kansas City Chiefs (-3) to beat San Diego Chargers @ 4/5

Should the Chiefs defeat the Chargers this week, it will be San Diego’s sixth straight loss and Kansas City’s fourth consecutive win.

Last week the Chiefs recorded five interceptions and five sacks in beating the Denver Broncos to pick their third win in a row. At the same time, the Chargers gave up a season-high 446 yards against the Chicago Bears.

Chicago Bears (+1) to beat Denver Broncos @ 20/21

As they prepare to meet at Soldier Field, the Chicago Bears are 4-5 and third in their division, while the Broncos arrive at the top of the AFC West and own a 7-2 record. Yet it’s the Bears that have the better outlook ahead of the clash.

That’s because the Broncos have lost two in a row and must try and avoid a third straight defeat for the first time in four seasons without future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.

Meanwhile the Bears are improving all the time. Having conceded an average of 35 points per game through their first three games, they now allow just 21.5.
