Well, well, well. All I can say is the auto-sub function saved my bacon last week!

Watching the Saturday lunchtime game, and seeing Arnautovic pop up with both goals for Stoke, I couldn’t believe it!

I’d called this just days before but didn’t believe it would actually happen…

Luckily, in stepped auto-sub to spare my blushes. With Aguero not playing any part, my 15 points from Arnautovic were added on at the end of the gameweek, and I live to fight another day in third place.

Can it happen three weeks in a row? I hope not!

I’ve swapped Willian for in-form Barkley whose Everton team will be looking to continue their five-game unbeaten run against Norwich.

Bolasie keeps his place based on my theory that it’s his turn to score twice instead of Arnautovic. And if Aguero doesn’t play again, auto-sub is my friend and the Stoke man is ready to step back in.

Yet another successful week for the team and I’m now sitting in 64th place overall.

Aguero not playing activated my vice-captain and Ighalo was more than capable of stepping up to the plate, with the Hornets forward earning me a tasty 20 points.

Mahrez’s hat-trick also added serious points last week. The winger was unplayable against Swansea and his three goals moved his tally to 10 for the season.

I’ve decided not to make a sub this week. It’s risky I know but I’m leaving Kompany and Aguero in the starting XI. The website is displaying they’ll be back on 12 December so let’s hope they’re not wrong!

Ighalo continues as captain and against a leaky Sunderland side I’ll be disappointed if he doesn’t score.

Another mediocre performance from my team but I’m not giving up hope just yet. I think I’ve got a good balance in the side and it can only get better in terms of points.

The only transfer this week comes in the frontline. Ighalo comes in for the misfiring Benteke and given the former’s impressive form and Watford playing Sunderland on Saturday, I just need to sit back and watch the points roll in.

Generous John had another bumper week so my team need to improve if I’m to get that top spot . My defence excelled last week so it’ll be important to build on that to ensure the team clock up plenty of points.

The team remains the same and I’m expecting big things from big money signing Kevin De Bruyne and Coutinho is back from injury and faces West Brom at home. Kane will be captain as he looks to find his goalscoring boots against a suspect Newcastle defence.

A decent week for Statletico Madrid but nothing spectacular. Another huge points total from Romelu Lukaku followed him scoring his 11th goal in 15 games although I missed out slightly by captaining him instead of Riyad Mahrez who bagged a hat-trick.

Mesut Ozil provided another strong performance and another assist taking his total to 12 for the season.

After injuries to Chris Smalling and Manuel Lanzini I’m benching them in favour of Hector Bellerin and Phillipe Coutinho. Coutinho had an assist and a goal in his last league game, Liverpool’s 4- 1 drubbing of Manchester City.

I’m expecting him to slot straight back into the side. Meanwhile, Tottenham face a Newcastle side that have been terrible this season, conceding 30 goals, so Harry Kane should have a pretty easy time against them.
