How Twitter reacted to the FA Cup Fourth Round Draw
Published:Monday night’s FA Cup Fourth Round draw threw up a host of potentially thrilling encounters, none more so than Wycombe at home to Manchester City and Eastleigh hosting Leeds should the sides win their respective replays.
The Chairboys now head to a midweek replay with Aston Villa knowing that a date at home to Sergio Aguero and co is the carrot on offer.
Elsewhere the Championship’s promotion-chasing Derby will welcome Manchester Untied to Pride Park, while League One Colchester will host Premier League opposition in either Tottenham or Leicester.
All in all, the draw brought about as much excitement as it did trepidation among supporters.
Wycombe’s Luke O’Nien thought the draw hampered their chances of lifting the famous trophy…
They aren’t making it easy for Wycombe to win the FA Cup this year Man City at Adams Park – What a dream draw Bring on Villa Park

The draw didn’t do much to inspire beleaguered Aston Villa fans however…
So if we go through we play man city, may as well go out to Wycombe then, it’ll be funnier. #utv #villa #facup — Gibbo (@G1880) January 11, 2016
Hope Wycombe can just knock us out to save our misery to get battered v man City #FACup #villafan

Meanwhile Derby fans are wary of Man United’s potential tactics…
Nice easy 4th round FA Cup draw. Man Utd’s best chance is to bore us to sleep and score on the break. #DCFC #Derby #Rams @mazymixer — Martyn Fisher (@_martyn_fisher) January 12, 2016
While others are just filled with excitement for now…
You Rams!! Bring on the Red Devils! #dcfc #Rams #facup

Man United fans aren’t too ecstatic with the draw however…
We should be over the moon with Derby but due to LVG Slow sideways dull system and no attacking play it’s a very hard game for us — MUFC SALFORD LAD (@MUFC_number1) January 12, 2016
Liverpool will welcome West Ham to Anfield should they see off Exeter, but they have already lost twice to the Hammers this term…
West Ham have beaten us comfortably twice this season. We’re out even if we beat Exeter imo #lfc — LFC Fan (@LFC_Fan_321) January 11, 2016
Exeter have a better chance at beating West Ham than we have! #LFC — Dave Vader (@dave_vader81) January 11, 2016
The feeling meanwhile is apparently quite reversed for the Boleyn faithful…
RT if you’d rather play Liverpool than Exeter in the next round. #AnfieldIsEasy — West Ham Central (@WestHam_Central) January 11, 2016
