Twitter goes mad for the Panthers and the Broncos

| 25.01.2016

Destination San Francisco! The Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos are heading to Super Bowl 50 following a night of epic drama across the pond.

The Cam Newton-inspired Panthers routed the Arizona Cardinals 49-15 to clinch the NFC Championship and the defending champions were sent packing with Peyton Manning’s Broncos beating the New England Patriots 20-18 to secure the AFC title.

And, as you’d expect, Twitter got a little bit excited about the action that unfolded and the prospect of a Newton v Manning showdown.

Here are a few of the highlights…

Meanwhile, Cam Newton was the talk of the Twittersphere with veteran broadcaster Larry King quick to offer his ‘two cents’.

Elsewhere, ESPN offered some food for thought.

Here are some more Newton stats.

Hey, everybody makes mistakes….

Some lovin’ from one of the NBA’s finest.

Brothers stick together.

It must have worked. Brady sure don’t like playing against those Mannings…

Anyone but New England?

Bet you’ll be staying up late now, huh?
