Aston Villa fans are feeling pretty desperate on Deadline Day
Published:It’s been a particularly long, drawn-out Transfer Deadline Day for Aston Villa fans with no-one coming in to help their club escape an almighty Premier League relegation battle.
A loan move for QPR midfielder Karl Henry has been mooted although that news has hardly done much to raise a cheer in the claret and blue half of Birmingham.
If Karl Henry goes to Aston Villa i will sell my house and hire out a yacht for the next month to party on in Monaco Harbour.

Meanwhile, the local press have been busy producing a ‘Rejection XI’ to highlight the club’s plight and failure to attract any talent.
The likes of Loic Remy, Steven Naismith and Seydou Doumbia have all evaded manager Remi Garde’s clutches. And it’s fair to say that the locals aren’t happy.

Others are trying to see the funny side with a bit of gallows humour.
Amid all these #TransferDeadlineDay deals, it’s refreshing to see Aston Villa show loyalty to the players who got them where they are today. — Conor McLaughlin (@CMcLaughlin84) February 1, 2016
But most have just lost all hope.
Aston villa bottom of the league and not one player in ? I don’t get it unless they have given up and settled for the drop wow

Will the Villans pull of some inspired late business or are they doomed to the drop?
