Jim McInally is crowned Ladbrokes League 1 Manager of the Month

Peterhead boss Jim McInally has been the named the Ladbrokes League 1 Manager of the Month for January.
McInally’s side won three of their four games last month while drawing the other against league leaders Dunfermline.
The Highland side now sit just eight points behind the Pars having gone 12 games unbeaten and this latest award completes a memorable double for the Blue Toon after hotshot striker Shane Sutherland scooped the players’ accolade.
Next up for the men from Balmoor is a clash with struggling Forfar this Saturday, a match the hosts are priced up at 2/5 to win and continue their fine run of form.
And looking further ahead still title sponsors Ladbrokes have Peterhead at 16/1 to reel-in Dunfermline and go on to become League 1 champions at the end of the season.
Fans also have a Scottish Challenge Cup final date with Rangers to look forward to in April.
Peterhead are the huge 7/1 underdogs but if their current run continues they’ll head to Hampden Park full of confidence and facing the very real prospect of causing a major upset against their illustrious opponents.
