Ladbrokes Championship: St Mirren to continue upswing in form

Published:

Last weekend threw up some surprising results, and with the season-end fast approaching, teams will be desperate to grab all the Ladbrokes Championship points they can get.

With Rangers and Hibernian not in action until Sunday when they take on Queen of the South and Alloa respectively, just three Ladbrokes Championship fixtures take place this Saturday.

So it’s a chance for the mid-table bunch to steal the headlines.

Here’s your weekend preview…

Ladbrokes Championship

Morton v Falkirk

Falkirk have fallen away a little of late and won’t find it easy against Greenock Morton.

With Morton seeing under 2.5 goals in nine of their last 14 and likewise in seven of Falkirk’s last nine, a quiet afternoon could be in store.

Best Bet: Under 2.5 goals @ evens

Raith v Livingston

While Raith look for an end to their five-game winless run, Livingston are enduring a six-game luckless streak.

Rovers won the previous two meetings 3-0, but the lack of form from both sides this time around doesn’t bode for a thrilling encounter at Stark’s Park.

Best Bet: Under 2.5 goals @ evens

St Mirren v Dumbarton

St Mirren have made a solid effort to avoid the drop by winning four of their last seven and three of the last five.

With Dumbarton failing to score in four of their last five games, the Buddies could be heading for victory once more.

Best Bet: St Mirren to win to nil @ 11/5
