Twitter reacts to the sale of Hearts hitman Osman Sow

Published:

Football fans are well-known for their occasionally volatile reactions to their club’s transfer dealings but in the case of Hearts and Osman Sow, it’s fair to say the Jam Tarts faithful seem fairly nonplussed.

In fact, quite a few of Midlothian’s supporters have found the striker’s impending £1.5m move to China pretty bizarre.

The 25-year-old only has five months left on his contract which does beg the question – what are Chinese Super League outfit Henan Jianye doing spending so much to secure his services?

Meanwhile, thoughts have naturally turned to how the money will be re-invested. Dundee United’s John Souttar is believed to be a target.

There are some fairly upset Jambos.

But fans of other SPFL teams rate the sale as a decent bit of business.
