Veteran striker Scott McDonald scored a late brace to seal a 3-0 victory for Motherwell over struggling Dundee United last night.

Stephen McManus netted the opener for the visitors at Tannadice. The result leaves The Terrors 13 points adrift of nearest rivals Kilmarnock at the bottom of the Ladbrokes Premiership while Well moved two points clear of the relegation play-off spot.
