Bottom side Dundee United are now just eight points behind Kilmarnock with a game in hand after thrashing Ross County 3-0 in Saturday’s Ladbrokes Premiership encounter.

Goals from Paul Paton, Billy McKay and Ryan Dow did the damage in the Highlands and in doing so had the delirious away fans dreaming of what would be an incredible Great Escape.
