Twitter reacts as Spurs and Arsenal excite with derby draw

| 05.03.2016

Well, that was exciting. Arsenal travelled to White Hart Lane to face Tottenham in what has been described as the biggest north London derby ever.

The Gunners took the lead through Aaron Ramsey who finished off a lovely move with a delicate flick before Francis Coquelin looked to be the villain of the piece after earning an unnecessary second yellow.

Toby Alderweireld brought Spurs back into the game, while Harry Kane scored a fantastic goal to make it 2-1.

Alexis Sanchez finished the scoring to earn his side a point and Twitter was kept on the edge of their collective seats throughout the early kickoff.

Here’s how people reacted:

Ramsey’s delicate flick was the first piece of action to get Twitter excited.

While Harry Kane also grabbed attention with his curled effort.

Conversely, Coquelin came in for a lot of criticism after it looked like he had cost his side the north London derby.

However, others were more annoyed by the performance of referee Michael Oliver.
