Man United Countdown Boost

The countdown to the 2016-17 Premier League season continues and fittingly it’s the Community Shield winners who steal the limelight today with Manchester United the latest beneficiaries of our headline boosts.

The excitement is building around Jose Mourinho’s new look United side with yesterday’s victory, coupled with the impending return of Paul Pogba, sending the red half of Manchester into a frenzy.

And if that wasn’t enough to whet the appetite, here’s our latest selection of Premier League Countdown Boosts to enjoy…

08:00-12:00: Man United to finish outside the top 4 was 7/4, NOW 9/4

It could happen?!

If you’re still not convinced by Jose and co. then this is the boost for you. Manchester United have finished outside the top four in two of the last three seasons with both David Moyes and Louis van Gaal subsequently forced to fall on their swords.

12:00-15:00: Man United to be Highest Scoring Team was 7/2, NOW 9/2

This would represent quite a turnaround given last season’s turgid fare but don’t let that put you off.

The Van Gaal era of goalmouth austerity is over and Mourinho has form when it comes to getting his team to click in front of goal.

His 2005-06 Chelsea side were the joint-highest goalscorers in the division while his 2008-09 Inter outfit topped the goalscoring charts in a season where they landed the Serie A title under the Portuguese gaffer.

15:00-18:00: Man United to beat Man City both home and away was 5/1, NOW 7/1

It’s fair to say the 2009-10 season served up some pretty special Manchester Derby fare.

It was the last time this particular bet came in with the Red Devils’ last-gasp 4-3 victory over their noisy neighbours followed-up by another dramatic late victory in the return fixture at Eastlands courtesy of Paul Scholes’ 90th minute effort.

Oh, and sandwiched in between that was a two-legged League Cup semi-final victory for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.

Will United come out on top this term?

18:00-22:00: Zlatan Ibrahimovic Top Premier League Goalscorer was 8/1, NOW 12/1

We can see this one being popular.

Having plundered an astonishing record haul of 38 league goals last season, Zlatan has carried on where he left off.

His acrobatic bicycle kick against Galatasaray got the ball rolling, his Community Shield winner added further fuel to the fire and now this boost looks sure to see the betting explode.
