ICYMI: Rampant Hearts thrash Invernss in five-star performance

After a winless opening two games of the new Ladbrokes Premiership campaign, Hearts roared into life with a 5-1 thumping of Inverness at Tynecastle.

Don Cowie scored twice inside the first 47 minutes, before Sam Nicholson grabbed a quick-fire brace late on for Robbie Neilson’s men.

Conor Sammon grabbed his first goal for the Edinburgh side, while Caley’s only joy was Ross Draper’s consolation effort, as the Highland side sit bottom of the table.
