#LadsTrophyTour: Highland heroes make a splash at Loch Ness

Published:

They might lock horns on the pitch, but the players of Ross County and Inverness Caledonian Thistle teamed up at Loch Ness to soak up the scenery and lift the Ladbrokes Premiership trophy as the #LadsTrophyTour rocked up in the Highlands.

The Staggies’ Dutch duo Alex Schalk and Kenny van der Weg, plus Caley Jags’ defender Gary Warren got on board for a boat ride across the scenic Loch, and got their hands on the monster prize both sides will be battling to lift this season.

Fans have been out in force to lift the illustrious trophy, and meet the likes of Aberdeen’s Graeme Shinnie – with a raft of other big names appearing throughout the tour.

And it was a chance to kick back and relax for the Caley Thistle and County trio, before Richie Foran’s men host St Johnstone and the Staggies head to Hamilton Academical – meaning there’s every chance they’ll see the #LadsTrophyTour bus again this weekend!

We’re heading to Hamilton Racecourse for the hotly-anticipated Ladbrokes SPFL Mascot Race on Friday (August 26).

That’s followed by a short trip to New Douglas Park the following day – meaning Accies fans can pose with the Premiership crown at Saturday’s game.

We’ll be stopping off in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Falkirk after that, so keep an eye out for our #LadsTrophyTour updates, and we’ll hopefully see you soon!
