ICYMI: Dembele inspires Celtic to emphatic victory over Rangers

| 12.09.2016

Moussa Dembele’s hat-trick stole the show as Celtic beat Rangers 5-1 to go two points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership.

Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off didn’t disappoint with Dembele’s star turn just one of the intriguing plotlines.

Scott Sinclair scored for the fourth league game in a row to restore the Hoops’ two goal advantage after Joe Garner had pulled one back before half-time.

However, the Gers’ task was made nigh on impossible when Philippe Senderos was sent off on his debut 25 minutes before the end of the game.

Stuart Armstrong then added further gloss to scoreline on a thoroughly miserable afternoon for Mark Warburton’s side.
