Ladbrokes SPFL: Vote for August’s Goal of the Month

| 08.09.2016

We’re only mere weeks into the new Ladbrokes SPFL season, but already we’ve seen some quite wondrous goals, and now it’s time to vote for your Goal of the Month for August.

Stay tuned to @Ladbrokes on Twitter throughout the day, as we’ll be putting up the best eight strikes from the opening month of the campaign.

Choose your favourites from our two semi-finals, and then the winners will go head-to-head in this evening’s vote.

Let’s kick off with the contenders in first semi-final…

Voting for the first semi-final opens at 13:00 on @Ladbrokes and it sees Darren Lyon’s rocket ship for Hamilton against Dundee go up against Stephen Dobbie’s sumptuous finish for Queen of the South against Falkirk.

Also in contention is Souleymane Coulibaly’s firecracker for Kilmarnock at Hamilton, and Leigh Griffith’s stonking hit for Celtic against Aberdeen.

Now for the second semi-final…

Voting for this quartet is open at 15:00 on @Ladbrokes with Mark Stewart’s lovely turn and finish taking on Niall McGinn’s delightful free-kick for the Dons at home to Partick.

Another free-kick beauty comes from James Tavernier, for his stunner when Rangers’ headed to Killie, and the final contender is Marc McKenzie’s wicked dipping effort in Stirling’s victory over Montrose.

So there you go!

Stay tuned to @Ladbrokes throughout the afternoon and cast your vote. The top two from each semi-final will go into tonight’s final, where we will discover who wins our Ladbrokes SPFL Goal of the Month for August.
