Balls will fight another day but Antastacia faces Strictly exit
Published:Ed Balls will make it through this week’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing and that spells bad news for a certain crocked contestant.
At least, that’s what the latest odds suggest with our TV traders indulging in some crystal-ball gazing ahead of this weekend’s action on the dance floor.
The bookies reckon new cult hero Ed Balls (2/1) will escape the bottom two, despite his questionable skills, with Anastacia the favourite to be eliminated next at 5/4.
Lesley Joseph is chalked up next in the betting at 5/1, or it’s then a 7/1 chance that any other contestant is given their marching orders.
Danny Mac is flying high at the other end of the market with his odds of winning rated at just 2/1.
However hot on his heels is Louise Redknapp at 4/1, followed by Robert Rinder, Will Young and Claudia Fragapane (8/1).
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Ed might be the rank outsider for glory, but punters reckon he’s got a fair few more weeks in him yet and unfortunately for Anastacia it doesn’t look like she’ll escape for the second week running.”
