ICYMI: Killie denied as Doumbouya pounces for Inverness

Published:

Kilmarnock were left to rue missed opportunities when Lonsana Doumbouya levelled late on to salvage a draw for Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday afternoon.

Souleymane Coulibaly won and converted a penalty to hand the visitors a seventh minute lead and it was an advantage Lee Clark’s side clung onto until four minutes from time.

Coulibaly, Kris Boyd and Rory McKenzie all had chances to put Killie out of sight before Lonsana Doumbouya pounced to level things up.

Both sides have now collected 10 points from as many games with Inverness sixth in the Ladbrokes Premiership table while Kilmarnock are eighth.
