Is latest dance the sure-fire way to a Strictly exit for Ed Balls?

Ed Balls- Strictly Come Dancing

Come on, admit it, Ed Balls has done well to survive until now in this year’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing.

The former Shadow Chancellor has led a charmed life leading into Week 5 but his time could be up as far as punters are concerned.

Ed has been the most heavily backed to be the fourth contestant eliminated and not even his American Smooth to the Tony Christie classic ‘(Is this the way to) Amarillo’ may save him.

If you think Mr. Balls is a banker to go then get on the 9/4 before it’s too late.

Elsewhere, Anastacia is the favourite for elimination with our traders making the US singer an 11/8 shot for the boot.

Like Ed, she’s also hung on in there and looks vulnerable. A last-minute change to her dance partner probably won’t do her any favours either.

Meanwhile, Laura Whitmore is also attracting interest in the elimination market.

The Irish TV presenter was a 12/1 chance to be sent home last night, only for a flurry bets to send her odds into 8/1.
