Tiger Woods odds-on to never win another Major ever again

Tiger Woods is heavily odds-on to never win another Major event in his career, following the latest setback in his return to the PGA tour.
Woods was scheduled to compete in this weekend’s season-opening Safeway Open, thus ending over a year’s absence from the Tour.
But on Monday the 14-time Major winner pulled out of the event, pushing his return back to early December and the bookies make it 1/9 that Woods never wins another Major.
Citing a ‘vulnerable game’ Woods said however, that his game was close to where he wants it to be.
While the odds on him never adding to his Major haul look pretty slim, the bookies do offer 5/1 that Woods can bag a 15th title at some point in his career.
Better value perhaps lies in the 40-year-old landing another PGA title, with 4/6 saying the Californian adds an 80th crown to his name to close to just two off Sam Snead’s record.
Similarly, after being a Vice Captain in this year’s successful USA Ryder Cup team, it’s Evens that Woods plays again in the famous competition.
It’s widely believed that for Woods, surgery is no longer an option, and with his latest operation over a year ago, it remains to be seen how far this comeback will lead.
The former world number one hasn’t won a major since the 2008 US Open, and suffered the ignominy of missing all three of his last Major cuts in 2015.
