Tottenham’s title odds tumble following stunning City win

Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League odds have tumbled following their excellent win over Manchester City.

Spurs’ superb 2-0 win inflicted the first defeat of Pep Guardiola’s City reign, and in turn saw stakes flying in on the White Hart Lane outfit to claim this season’s title.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into the weekend as 20/1 shots, but those odds have more than halved into 15/2.

Tottenham are the only side yet to lose in the Premier League this term, and the bookies make it 200/1 they go all season unbeaten and 14/1 they don’t taste a league defeat until 2017.

Following a relatively quiet summer in the transfer market, few were genuinely tipping up Spurs as genuine title contenders, but they must be seriously respected now.

It’s 80/1 Spurs bag a famous Premier League and Emirates FA Cup Double, with the bookies making it odds-on at 5/6 that Pochettino leads his side to any major cup final.

It’s 300/1 that Tottenham win the Premier League and Champions League, and while we’re at it, 2750/1 says the London club turn that double into a treble with an Emirates FA Cup win victory too.
