X Factor Buzzword Bingo: Cash in on a ‘Scher-mazing’ opening night

| 08.10.2016

Thousands of hopefuls have been whittled down to just 12 as we head into the first weekend of X Factor live shows. And to celebrate, we’ve brought back Buzzword Bingo, so if you fancy one of the judges to utter one of the following statements, then why not put your money where your mouth is?

You nailed it! – 1/2

A real X Factor favourite saying, the odds suggest just how likely a judge is to tell a contestant they nailed their performance.

Scher-mazing – 2/1

It simply wouldn’t be X Factor if Nicole Scherzinger didn’t throw out the scher-mazing bomb at least once on the opening night. Easy money, right?!

I didn’t like it… I loved it – 2/1

A Simon Cowell classic if ever there was one. Expect the audience’s boos to turn immediately into cheers after the music mogul declares his love for a performance.

You owned that stage – 2/1

Perhaps this one could be aimed at energetic trio 5 After Midnight, who are being tipped as the next JLS. No pressure, lads.

You were born to sing – 3/1

Yep, we can see Sharon Osbourne or Nicole giving at least one hopeful an early confidence boost by telling them this is what they were put on earth to do.

You gave 110 per cent – 5/1

There’ll be plenty hoping to do just that come showtime tomorrow night.

Cabaret Act – 5/1

Someone referred to as a cabaret act? On X Factor? Never!

That song was too big for you – 5/1

The ultimate putdown. Especially on the opening night of lives.

Best group since One Direction – 10/1

There’s hope for you, Bratavio. There’s hope.

If you win this competition, we will have failed – 10/1

Not words anyone would want to hear at this stage.

Heading into the opening live show, it’s still Matt Terry who’s heading the market at 2/1, while Louis Walsh’s guilty pleasure, Bratavio, are favourites to face the boot first at 7/4.
