Celtic 7/5 to win domestic treble this year after League Cup success

| 27.11.2016

Celtic are 7/5 to dominate domestically this season and claim a famous treble, following their League Cup success over Aberdeen.

The Bhoys’ impressive 3-0 win at Hampden Park handed boss Brendan Rodgers his first piece of silverware with the club since taking charge in the summer.

And with Celtic 1/200 favourites to land the Ladbrokes Premiership this season, the bookies make it 7/5 they add the Scottish Cup to complete a treble-winnig campaign.

Goals from Tom Rogic, James Forrest and Moussa Dembele – his 17th of the season – did for Aberdeen at Hampden, with Celtic picking up their 16th League Cup success and their second in three seasons.

It’s the sort of form which Rodgers’ side have produced week in-week out in the Ladbrokes Premiership, with the Hoops boasting an eight-point lead with two games in hand on the chasing pack.

Celtic have won 11 and drawn 1 of their 12 fixtures so far, and for all the plaudits heading towards Demebele and Scott Sinclair, the Bhoys haven’t conceded a league goal since September,

And at 11/8, they’re favourites to land the Scottish Cup this year as well.

All in all, it’s looking very promising for Celtic and their new gaffer this season, with the first of their potential three-parter already in the bag.
