Four of Diamonds favourites for week five X Factor exit

They had the perfect theme and an excellent song choice. But despite everything falling in their favour, Four of Diamonds are the favourites to get the boot from the X Factor this evening.

Week Five’s Girlband v Boyband extravaganza seemed tailor-made for the quartet with Wilson Phillips’s Hold On the song choice made by Groups judge, Louis Walsh.

However, the odds suggest the Diamonds failed to do enough with the girl group 11/10 to get the boot.

And having found themselves in the bottom two for two weeks in a row it looks like their time could be up.

They’re not the only strugglers in the firing line though.

Finnish singer Saara Alto put her own spin on Girls Aloud banger Sound of the Underground but she also looks vulnerable with odds of 2/1 for her to be eliminated.

Ryan Lawrie is another contestant leading a charmed life having found himself in the bottom three for three weeks in a row, only to be saved by the Lifeline vote.

The 20-year-old beau of fellow hopeful Emily Middlemas is the third favourite for the boot at 4/1.

It’s hard to see beyond one of the aforementioned trio making a week five exit but if you are looking elsewhere than Sam Lavery at 8/1 is another to consider following her limp rendition of I’ll Stand By You.
