Ore on the drift as Danny stands alone in latest Strictly betting

Danny Mac - Strictly Come Dancing

Danny Mac is the clear favourite to win this year’s Glitterball Trophy after another solid week near the top of the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard.

The Hollyoaks actor posted 38 points, including his first 10s of the series, with only Louise Redknapp and dance partner Kevin Clifton bettering that score with a series-best of 39 points.

All of which means Danny is now 11/8 to win this year’s competition with Louise cut back into 5/2 following her high-scoring Tango.

However, the big loser this week has been Ore Oduba with the television presenter out to 5/1 to take the spoils having been as short as 9/4 just last weekend.

Despite finishing fourth on the leaderboard, Ore and Joanna Clifton found themselves in the dreaded Dance Off with Laura Whitmore the latest contestant to leave the show.

Elsewhere, friend of Ladbrokes News Ed Balls put in his best performance of the series and the former Shadow Chancellor was rewarded with another week on the dancefloor.

He’s a 50/1 outsider to be crowned this year’s champion having been 100/1 when our Strictly Come Dancing market opened.
