Punters reckon Ed has the balls to win Strictly Come Dancing

Ed Balls- Strictly Come Dancing

Ed Balls is only 3/1 to reach the final of Strictly Come Dancing this year, according to the latest odds.

As Blackpool approaches, we’ve been flooded with bets on Balls landing the elusive Glitterball trophy this year.

And such is the support, his odds have fallen into 10/1 (from 16/1) since last Sunday’s elimination show.

Danny Mac is still sitting pretty in the top spot for glory at odds of 5/4, followed by Louise Redknapp (11/4) and Claudia Fragapane (7/1).

Meanwhile, at the other end of the market, it’s Greg Rutherford who’s fancied as the next dancer to fall by the wayside at 6/4, or it’s a 9/4 chance Judge Rinder is sent home.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Danny might be the favourite, but it’s Ed who’s the main man as far as punters are concerned. It starts to get serious after Blackpool, but that hasn’t stopped punters from backing his odds down into just 10% of what he started the series at.”
