Scarlett has it all to do in I’m a Celeb, despite being favourite

We’re just over a week into the latest I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! series, and it’s still Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt who leads the way as the 7/4 favourite for the Jungle crown.
But the competition is catching her up, with Adam Thomas in hot pursuit. Following his heroics in last night’s Bushtucker Trial the heartthrob has seen his odds fall to just 2/1, meaning Scarlett has it all to do over the next two weeks if she’s to win the show.
It’s a big ask for the 26-year-old to lead from the outset and go on to be crowned Queen of the Jungle, especially given that she’s missing out on potentially crucial airtime by being ruled out of certain Bushtucker Trials through medical grounds.
Granted, there’s nothing she can do about that, but it’s allowing her fellow campmates to impress viewers and punters alike – and last night’s performance from Adam was a perfect example of that.
Prior to yesterday’s show, the Emmerdale star was 7/1 to win.
And if that teaches us anything, it’s that we can’t rule anyone out just yet – even the likes of Jordan Banjo (50/1) and Wayne Bridge (20/1), as all it takes is one good performance and those odds could take a similar tumble.
