Arsenal 11/4 to sign Dortmund’s Reus as Sanchez & Ozil replacements

Arsenal are just 11/4 to snap up Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus, according to the latest odds.

With the futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil still up in the air, Reus has been touted as the man to succeed the duo in north London.

And the bookies have slashed the odds on the Arsenal landing the Bundesliga star from 6/1 into just 11/4 to join the Gunners next summer.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may not even wait that long, with 5/1 saying the Frenchman delights his fans with a January swoop for the Germany international.

After missing the start of the season through injury, Reus has since made up for lost time, and in just six games across the Bundesliga and Champions League has scored four goals and supplied six assists.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “With the future of Sanchez and Ozil still uncertain, Reus could be drafted in to be Arsenal’s new hero.”

Both Sanchez and Ozil are in the middle of contract talks, with the Gunners under pressure to tie their star men down for the future.

But until those deals are signed, both the Chilean and German stars have been linked with moves away from the Emirates.

And after two defeats on the spin, Arsenal’s title hopes hang in the balance ahead of the Christmas period.

The Gunners host West Brom on Boxing Day, and they’ll be hoping Sanchez and Ozil produce the goods for the 3/10 favourites.
