Chelsea are the new Emirates FA Cup favourites following draw

Published:

Chelsea are the new favourites to win the Emirates FA Cup this season following the Third Round draw.

As the official betting partner of the FA, we’ve been quick to react to the news from Wembley.

In doing so, we’ve cut Chelsea to 5/1 from 13/2 following the draw, with Liverpool also shortening to 6/1 after avoiding Premier League opposition.

Manchester City – market leaders before the draw was made – are out to 7/1 (from 11/2) having been handed an away tie at West Ham.

Stourbridge are the rank outsiders at 5000/1 ahead of their Replay, with the remainder of the Non-league sides in the Third Round ranging from 1500/1 to the 2500/1 quoted about Halifax.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The sides at the front of the market all managed to avoid each other meaning Chelsea and Liverpool were the biggest beneficiaries as far as the betting is concerned. Despite West Ham’s current home form, Manchester City have been ousted as favourites following their tie at the London Stadium.”
