Toffees’ fighting spirit can be invaluable

While it’s Liverpool who have enjoyed the better form of late, Koeman’s side have proved resolute and spirited when up against it in recent weeks, rescuing five points from losing positions in their last five outings.

Leighton Baines’ late penalty rescued a point against in-form Manchester United, while Seamus Coleman also registered an 89^th-minute equaliser against Swansea City on home soil.

But it was Tuesday night’s 2-1 triumph over Arsenal that really emphasised the skill and desire the Blues possess at their best, with Seamus Coleman and Ashley Williams turning round a deficit to secure all three points against a Gunners side packed with attacking quality.

That means backing Everton to come from behind and win or draw looks well worth a flutter at 9/2.
