Australian Open: Price boosts for Murray and Serena

| 15.01.2017

The Australian Open is almost upon us, but before the action gets underway in Melbourne, we’re dishing out the price boosts on two of the favourites.

Andy Murray is a five-time runner up Down Under, but after a sensational end to 2016, can the new world number one finally go one better?

And while Serena lost her spot at the top to Angelique Kerber in the Autumn, that could be all the inspiration the great American needs to sweep all aside over the next fortnight.

We’re enhancing Andy Murray to win the Australian Open from 6/4 to 15/8*.

And we’re boosting Serena Williams to win Down Under from 3/1 to 7/2*.

The Scot was handed a favourable draw in Melbourne, beginning with a first round clash with Ukraine’s Illya Marchenko.

And there should be little in Murray’s way until the last four, where Stan Wawrinka could lie in wait.

It’s a similar story for Serena, who won’t face any of the world’s top-15 until the quarter-finals at the very earliest.
