Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round: Giant-killing Sutton to face Arsenal

The draw for the Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round has been made with Sutton United set to host 12-time winners Arsenal at Gander Green Lane.

Paul Doswell’s National League outfit have knocked out higher-ranked opposition in the shape of Cheltenham Town, AFC Wimbledon and Leeds United to reach the last-16 and the south London side will no doubt be chomping at the bit when Arsene Wenger’s giants head across the capital.

Elsewhere, the draw threw up another London derby with Fulham at home to Tottenham Hotspur.

Meanwhile, Blackburn Rovers will also enjoy a local spat when they take on holders Manchester United while Lincoln City will travel to face Premier League opponents in Burnley.

England manager Gareth Southgate and former Leicester City star Robbie Savage were in attendance at BBC’s New Broadcasting House to pick out the balls.

Here’s the Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round draw in full:

Burnley v Lincoln City

Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur

Blackburn Rovers v Manchester United

Sutton United v Arsenal

Middlesbrough v Oxford United

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Chelsea

Huddersfield Town v Manchester City

Millwall v Derby County or Leicester City

Ties will be played the weekend of Friday February 17 – Monday February 20.

We wish all remaining teams the best of luck!
