Liverpool just 5/2 to win a Premier League title with Coutinho

Liverpool may not have had much success on the pitch over the last few weeks, but it’s a completely different story off it. That’s because key man Philippe Coutinho had this morning agreed to a contract extension which will keep him at the club for the next five years.
And following that news, our traders have priced up a number of specials concerning both the Merseyside outfit and their main playmaker.
We’re offering 5/2 for the Brazil international to win a Premier League title with the Reds.
And those would have to be considered as tempting odds given the way Liverpool have progressed in the last year under Jurgen Klopp.
Despite finishing last season in a disappointing eighth-place, Klopp has turned this side into genuine title contenders, and you’d only expect their chances of winning the title to improve over the coming seasons.
Meanwhile, it’s 20/1 for Liverpool to win the biggest club competition in Europe with Coutinho on their books.
Again, while that seems unlikely now, you’d have to admit that with both Klopp and the club’s experience in the Champions League, they can’t be completely ruled out in the next few years.
Elsewhere, the shortest price of the lot concerns just Coutinho.
We’re offering odds of 2/1 for the 24-year-old to win the PFA Player of the Year award between now and 2022.
It’s an award that not many Liverpool players have won during the Premier League era. But the Little Magician certainly has the potential to join Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez in that exclusive club.
