If there’s one man you’d back to get you to a major cup final, it’s Jurgen Klopp. And Liverpool fans will be hoping their boss can do exactly that this week as Liverpool look to overturn a one goal deficit against Southampton in their EFL Cup semi-final second leg.

Despite winning just one of their last six matches in all competitions, we still reckon the Reds will progress to their second consecutive Wembley showpiece.

Klopp’s men should edge the first-half

Despite scoring a staggering 64 goals in all competitions so far this season – it’s not uncommon for Liverpool to take a one goal lead into the interval.

In fact, it’s something they’ve done on seven occasions since August.

Given how much is at stake in tonight’s match, we’re expecting Klopp’s side to fly out the traps and push for an early goal.

Should that happen, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Merseyside outfit played out the rest of the first-half without pushing too far forward and leaving themselves exposed at the back.
