Mo Adeniran already the clear 5/1 favourite to win The Voice

Published:

We’ve only seen one episode’s worth of hopefuls, but our traders have already made Mo Adeniran the clear favourite to win the show at 5/1, following a flurry of bets which have made him the most backed act in the competition.

The 21-year-old pulled off without question the performance of the night last Saturday, finding himself ahead of Jason Jones and Into The Dark who are 12/1 and 16/1 respectively.

In fact, we can reveal that Mo’s odds have actually been cut in half since he first appeared on the show. An eventual fall in odds from 10/1 started during the show, and ended at 5s after we’d seen every act in the episode.

And that leaves DiamondTruly Scrumptious and Max Vickers all priced at 25/1, having failed to strike an immediate chord with punters.

As things stand, will.i.amJennifer HudsonTom Jones and Gavin Rossdale all share odds of 13/5 to be the winning mentor, despite the only female on the panel boasting the current market leader in her ranks.

And it’s Jennifer and will.i.am who are the most backed mentors at this moment in time, sharing a staggering 80 per cent of all bets in that market.

Meanwhile, it seems punters can’t decide on the gender of the eventual winner just yet, with both outcomes having currently received 50 per cent of all bets placed.
