Odds slashed on Neymar joining Manchester United this summer

In what would surely be the biggest transfer of the summer, Barcelona star Neymar is now just 6/4 to join Manchester United when the window re-opens.
The latest odds update follows reports by Spanish publication SPORT that United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly been calling the Brazilian all week in a bid to land his man.
Links between Neymar and the Red Devils are nothing new with the Barca attacker attracting long-term interest from the red half of Manchester.
However, this fresh speculation has resulted in the odds on a summer swoop collapsing from 5/1 into the revised price.
And while United are showing signs of resurgence it’s no secret that the Old Trafford hierarchy are concerned by the team’s over-reliance on 35-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic for goals.
The talismanic Swede has netted 16 Premier League goals so far this season and 24 in total.
But with Juan Mata next best on nine goals in all competitions it’s believed the English giants are on the hunt for fresh attacking options.
Neymar would certainly fit the bill having smashed an incredible 93 goals in 155 starts for his current employers.
And it would appear as if Mourinho is doing everything he can to persuade the 25-year-old to join his United revolution.
