Manchester City are reportedly eyeing up Monaco talent Thomas Lemar.

Renowned French publication L’Equipe claim the Citizens have joined the list of admirers for the 21-year-old.

Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus have already been linked with the forward this season.

Lemar has been among a number of young stars who have shone for Monaco this term, and has bagged seven goals and six assists from 21 Ligue 1 appearances.

The winger also netted in the 2-1 win over Tottenham in the Champions League last Autumn.

But there are strong reports that Les Rouges et Blancs will be under huge pressure to sell some of their breakout talents this summer.

Kylian Mbappe and Gabriel Boschilia are just two of Lemar’s team-mates who have also been tipped for a departure.

Born in Guadeloupe, Lemar began his career with Caen, making his debut aged just 17.

He quickly became a regular for the Normandie outfit, before Monaco came in with a £3m deal in 2015.

Five goals and three assists in his debut campaign on the French Riviera proved his talent, and Lemar has stepped it up again this term.

And as luck would have it, City will be able to get up close and personal with Lemar over the coming weeks.

The two sides have been drawn together in the Champions League last-16, with the Premier League side 1/3 favourites to progress to the last eight.
