Wayne Rooney’s odds slashed into 5/1 to make China move

Wayne Rooney could make a shock move to China within ten days according to the latest odds.
We have have slashed the odds of Rooney making a last-gasp switch to the Chinese Super League before their transfer window closes on the 28th of Feb to just 5/1, in from 20/1.
And should the deal fall through for this window, it’s now just Evens he makes the move east at any point in his career.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The betting had always hinted at Rooney making the move to China at some point, but out of nowhere the odds of him making a shock switch within days have collapsed.”
Rooney has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcus Rashford each becoming Mourinho’s go-to strikers this season.
The England international has netted just two Premier League goals, and is averaging just 54 minutes of football across his 17 league appearances this term.
In the meantime, United will be hoping to continue their Emirates FA Cup run when they head to Blackburn on Sunday.
