West Ham favourites to sign cult hero Dimitar Berbatov
Published:Fulham versus Tottenham may not have proved a classic Emirates FA Cup tie, but it did give football fans a chance to enjoy the sight of Dimitar Berbatov.
The Bulgarian is a cult hero with both clubs, and was at Craven Cottage as a pundit with BBC.
And after picking up plenty of attention on social media this afternoon, talk has returned of the former Manchester United striker returning to the Premier League.
Berbatov himself has made clear he hasn’t retired just yet, and the 36-year-old was tipped with a move to Swansea earlier this season.

It’s West Ham who lead the betting at 7/1, with the Hammers still light on strikers in east London.
A move to south London and Crystal Palace is 8/1, with Bournemouth chalked up at 10s ahead of a Fulham reunion at 12/1.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Berbatov wasn’t shy about putting himself in the shop window and the market suggests he’ll be swapping west London for east when he next puts his boots on.
“We’re not ruling out the prospect of him staying at Craven Cottage when he leaves the studio either.”
