The draw for the 2017 Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Third Round has been made with the tie between Siddal and the Toronto Wolfpack the main talking point.

Warrington Wolves star Stefan Ratchford picked out the home balls while Huddersfield Giants player Ryan Brierley was on hand to draw the away sides on Valentine’s Day.

And romance was definitely in the air in Salford with the fledgling Wolfpack now set for what’s sure to be a thrilling Challenge Cup debut.

A total of 24 clubs representing the Kingstone Press League 1 and the community game were pulled out of the hat.

To kick-off, here’s how Siddal and Toronto reacted to proceedings.

We can’t wait for this one!

Elsewhere, two giant-killers will be facing off with West Warriors taking on Haydock in the capital.

That tie means at least one amateur team will feature in the Fourth Round.

Ties will be played over the weekend Saturday February 25 – Sunday February 26 with one game, as yet to be confirmed, streamed live on the BBC Sport website.
