ITV Racing Tips: Golf can pitch his way to Imperial Cup success

Before the Roar there’s another big Saturday of racing to look forward to with action from Sandown and Wolverhampton taking centre stage pre-Cheltenham.
The Imperial Cup is the highlight in Surrey while on the All-Weather the Lincoln Trial and Lady Wulfruna Stakes are the feature contests.
ITV Racing will be showing six races in total so there’s plenty to get stuck into.
And having landed a clean sweep with last week’s NAP, NB and Lively Longshot, we’re feeling confident of more tipping success.

Irish trainer Willie Mullins will head to Esher before embarking upon another Cheltenham assault with the brilliantly named Redhotfillypeppers his mount.
She bolted up in a bumper at Punchestown on New Year’s Eve and looks to have another brilliant chance of getting in the winner’s enclosure.
Cap Solei, Petticoat Tails and the Mags Mullins-trained Martello Park are also in-form chances but we’re siding with Willie and owner/jockey Mr. David Dunsdon this weekend.
Michael Wigham is none too concerned about the quick turnaround for his prolific charge My Target and it’s easy to see why.
Having won four on the bounce at Lingfield, this son of Cape Cross is ready to go again over a track and trip that has also yielded success in the past.
Connor Beasley will once again be in the saddle and we’re backing this partnership to deliver a fabulous five-timer.

The Kerry Lee-trained eight-year-old has been backed into 8/1 from 14s and that price could well fall further before the off.
Runner-up in 2014 and third in 2015, this Lively Longshot certainly thrives on this stage and we’re hoping this is the year he goes even better and takes the spoils.
